Job Brief:

We are looking for a welder/ pipefitter to build and maintain fuel lines on petroleum and propane trucks that lives or is willing to move with 20 miles of the shop. We are looking for individuals that desire a long-term employment relationship with the opportunity to grow. 

We are a truck upfitter, the position is about 50% welding and pipe fitting, the other 50% is installing equipment on the trucks. Most of our welding is aluminum and stainless steel TIG, using a Miller Dynasty 400 welder. All welds are tested to 1.5 times maximum working pressure (Max 500 PSI).

Responsibilities:

• Review blueprints to understand the requirements.
• Set and modify specifications.
• Measure and cut pipes according to requirements.
• Weld, assemble and lubricate pipes.
• Install and secure pipes (e.g. with clamps).
• Test functionality of hydraulic and other systems.
• Repair malfunctions, breakages, or leaks.
• Use and maintain tools (e.g. pneumatic drills, saws).
• Collaborate with other workers to produce finished products.
• Follow safety guidelines and use protective equipment (e.g. goggles).
• Work Independently

Requirements and skills:

• Proven experience as a pipefitter.
• Must be able to tack with MIG and finish weld with TIG on Stainless Steel and Aluminum.
• Knowledge of health and safety guidelines when dealing with dangerous equipment or chemicals.
• Good problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• We are a DOT / FMCSA Cargo Tank and Homeland Security medium security facility. We are a “0%” drug /alcohol tolerance facility and all employees are subject to pre-hire and random drug testing.
• A valid driver’s license with no DWI/DUI/ criminal offenses in the last 10 years.
• A clean criminal records check required. 
• MUST LIVE WITHIN 20 MILES OF LIMERICK PA
• MUST LEGALLY BE ABLE TO WORK IN THE UNITED STATES
