We are seeking a skilled Technical Representative to join a leading commercial roofing organization. This role combines detailed estimating responsibilities with on-site technical support , partnering closely with sales teams to secure large-scale commercial roofing projects.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in estimating commercial and industrial roofing applications , proficiency with estimating software, and the ability to translate technical expertise into practical solutions for clients. This position involves both office-based estimating and field-based site assessments , ensuring accurate project scopes and helping close high-value opportunities.
Prepare accurate and detailed project estimates for commercial roofing projects.
Conduct site assessments to verify conditions and develop comprehensive scopes of work.
Collaborate with sales professionals to provide technical guidance and support during client meetings and bid presentations.
Review specifications, drawings, and related documents to ensure compliance with project requirements.
Maintain current knowledge of roofing systems, materials, and installation practices.
Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams, clients, and vendors.
Experience estimating commercial or industrial roofing projects.
Proficiency in industry-standard estimating software.
Strong understanding of various roofing systems and applications.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a consultative approach.
Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
