As a Cake Decorator at Uncle Mike's, you'll bring creativity, precision, and pride to every cake. Decorate cakes, cupcakes, cookies, and specialty desserts to Uncle Mike's quality and design standards.
Execute both standard designs and custom orders accurately and on time.
Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe workstation.
Ensure all decorated products meet company presentation and quality guidelines.
Collaborate with the bakery team to meet daily production goals.
Properly label, date, and rotate products according to food safety standards.
Communicate effectively with front-of-house staff on order details and timelines.
Provide input on seasonal designs, new product ideas, and display setups.
Previous cake decorating experience required (minimum 1 year preferred).
Strong skills with buttercream, piping, borders, and writing.
Attention to detail with a focus on consistent quality and speed.
Ability to follow Uncle Mike's decorating standards and replicate house designs.
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Positive, team-oriented attitude with a willingness to learn and grow.
Ability to work in a cold environment and stand for extended periods.
Stand and work on feet for extended periods.
Lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.
Work in a cool production area for extended shifts.
