Overview Renewables Project Manager Westwood Professional Services, Inc. Westwood Professional Services, Inc. is seeking a Renewables Project Manager to join our team.The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing complex and/or multi-service projects for
Westwood. They will ensure the successful completion of projects within scope, schedule, and budget, while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships and delivering high-quality results. The Project Manager will also provide
leadership and mentorship to junior team members and collaborate with service leads to coordinate project activities. Westwood has a highly experienced and dynamic team of individuals dedicated to providing high-level professional services to our clients.
Duties And Responsibilities As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing complex and/or multi-service projects. You will ensure the successful completion of projects within scope, schedule, and budget, while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships and delivering high-quality results. In addition, you will provide leadership and mentorship to junior team members and collaborate with service leads to coordinate project activities.
Your Key Responsibilities Will Include - Take full accountability for multiple wind, solar, and/or storage projects.
- Manage stakeholder relationships, both internal and external.
- Coordinate and manage project teams, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
- Develop and implement project plans, monitoring progress and making adjustments as needed.
- Oversee project work and ensure deliverables meet quality standards and contractual obligations.
- Track project health and take corrective action when necessary.
- Manage uncertainty and change, such as scope creep and change orders.
- Ensure timely invoicing and accounts receivable collection.
Required Experience - Bachelor's degree in a technical, business, or project management related field
- 3-5 years of experience in a project coordinator or similar role
- Professional licensure in a technical field, CAPM, or related certification
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Proficiency in project management software and tools
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Knowledge of project management principles and methodologies
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Preferred Experience - Experience in the renewable energy industry.
- Experience managing complex and/or multi-service projects.
- Experience with program management.
- Advanced knowledge of project financial management.
- Experience with contract negotiation and management.
- Strong leadership and mentoring skills.
- Excellent presentation and public speaking skills.
Compensation Range Minimum USD $85,000.00/Yr.
Compensation Range Maximum USD $125,000.00/Yr.
