Wellspring's Crisis Stabilization Program: The goal of Wellspring’s Crisis Stabilization Program is to assist adults who are experiencing an acute psychiatric episode. With our 24/7 care, we help people avoid hospitalization, achieve stabilization, and recover from acute mental health symptoms such as severe depression, mania, or psychosis. Clients receive intensive treatment, close monitoring with high levels of staff support, and medications prescribed by a psychiatrist, if necessary, in a homelike setting. The 16-bed program has two locations – the Samuel B. Todd Center and the David J. Block Center. Both are licensed, accredited crisis stabilization offering the only services of their kind in the Louisville Metro region.
Wellspring Crisis Stabilization Unit (CSU) Program Manager: The Program Manager provides support to clients in psychiatric crisis, supporting them in their daily activities and manages the household operations under the supervision of the Clinical Supervisor. The Program Manager supervises all non-clinical staff and plays an important administrative role, implementing the management team’s program goals and objectives.
CSU Program Manager Duties & Responsibilities: - Oversight of grocery shopping, supplies and program needs.
- Supervision of self-administered medications and calling in prescription refills.
- Living and leisure skills modeling and assistance and crisis intervention.
- Hiring, training and scheduling non-clinical staff.
- Stocking supplies and food for the program within provided budget; ensuring cleanliness, maintenance and safety of facility; reconciling petty cash, submitting payroll and completing other administrative functions.
- Participation in program on-call rotation.
- Assisting clinical team in monitoring mental status of and providing support for adult clients, many of whom have a severe and persistent mental illness.
CSU Program Manager Qualifications: - Minimum of two years experience in social services, preferably working with adults with serious mental illness.
- Experience in a managerial role.
- A strong candidate will have demonstrated: competence as a manager and leader; flexibility; thorough attention to detail and efficiency; ability to work effectively with diverse individuals.
- The ideal candidate will have the flexibility to work first OR second shift.
- A valid driver's license and personal vehicle are required for this position.
Salary / Other Benefits: - $18 - $22 / hour
- Compensation for program on-call rotations.
- Mileage reimbursement for work related travel.
