Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Payroll Clerk to join our team on a contract to hire basis in Concord, California. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing while maintaining compliance with all relevant regulations. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong organizational skills and a keen eye for detail. Responsibilities: -Support the Payroll Representatives with administrative tasks related to payroll - Utilize the Timekeeping System to track and manage employee hours. - Perform regular audits of timecards to identify and resolve discrepancies. - Enter payroll-related data into the system efficiently and without errors. - Collaborate with team members to address payroll inquiries and resolve issues promptly. - Maintain organized records of payroll transactions for future reference. Requirements - Proficiency in using the Timekeeping Systems. - Strong skills in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting. - Accuracy and speed in data entry with minimal errors. - Familiarity with auditing timecards and resolving discrepancies. - Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. - Excellent organizational and communication skills.
