Job Description

Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to join our client in Reynoldsburg, Ohio. In this position, you will play a key role in ensuring accurate and efficient data entry into systems while maintaining high standards of precision. This role requires strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions such as pivot tables. The position is starting as a contract with the potential to be contract to hire. Responsibilities: - Input large volumes of data accurately and efficiently into the designated system. - Maintain a high level of attention to detail to ensure data integrity and minimize errors. - Utilize Microsoft Excel for data management tasks, including creating and analyzing pivot tables. - Operate within company systems, such as Sage, or adapt quickly to similar platforms. - Collaborate with team members to verify and cross-check data entries. - Uphold confidentiality and security standards when handling sensitive information. - Conduct regular audits of entered data to identify discrepancies and correct them. - Follow established procedures and guidelines to meet daily and weekly productivity targets. - Assist with additional administrative tasks as needed to support the team. Requirements - Proven experience in data entry or a similar role, demonstrating accuracy and efficiency. - Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including expertise in pivot tables and advanced functions. - Familiarity with Sage or comparable software systems is preferred. - Excellent typing skills with a focus on numeric and alphanumeric data entry. - Ability to work independently while managing time effectively to meet deadlines. - Strong analytical skills to identify and resolve data inconsistencies. - High level of attention to detail and commitment to maintaining data accuracy. - Willingness to undergo drug testing and background checks as part of employment requirements.
