What You'll Do
As the face of the practice, you'll play a key role in:
-- Patient Check-In --
- Greet patients warmly and professionally, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Verify and update patient demographic and insurance information in the system.
- Prepare charts, obtain necessary signatures, and ensure all documentation is accurate and complete.
- Communicate with patients about their appointments, referrals, and any required forms or waivers.

-- Patient Check --
- Review fee sheets for accuracy and ensure patients understand the doctor's instructions.
- Schedule follow-up appointments and provide detailed instructions for next steps.
- Verify insurance and collect payments, ensuring accurate documentation.
- Thank patients for their visit and address any remaining questions or concerns.

-- Administrative Support --
- Answer phone calls promptly and professionally, addressing patient inquiries and scheduling appointments.
- Confirm upcoming appointments and follow up with no-show patients to reschedule as needed.
- Maintain an organized and tidy waiting area, ensuring a welcoming environment for all visitors.
- Manage patient files, referrals, and records release requests with precision.

What We're Looking For
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- Education & Experience: A high school diploma or equivalent, with at least 2 years of experience in a medical practice.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in computer systems, including Microsoft Office, and familiarity with medical software.
- Interpersonal Skills: A pleasant, empathetic demeanor and excellent communication abilities.
- Organization: The ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously with attention to detail and accuracy.
