Volt is immediately hiring a Remote Project Manager-Packaging Program Support in Maplewood, MN with a well-known industry leader.
This is a first shift position. As a Project Manager for Packaging you will: - Coordinate and manage project phases, timelines, and deliverables for packaging-related initiatives.
- Facilitate stakeholder alignment across functions such as engineering, laboratory, procurement, quality, regulatory, and IT.
- Assist in developing procedures, templates, and work instructions to support documentation and process.
- Track progress, report status, and escalate issues for decision-making.
- Maintain resource allocation reports and dashboards.
- Ensure adherence to relevant industry standards and internal quality requirements.
This is a full-time contingent opportunity
The ideal candidate will have: - 3-5 years of experience leading or supporting packaging projects in a regulated industry (medical device, life sciences, pharmaceuticals, or similar).
- Proficiency with enterprise systems (e.g., PLM, ERP), Microsoft 365 applications, and basic project management tools.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement.
- Analytical approach with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and support cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in packaging or packaging engineering, including documentation management and compliance.
- Familiarity with regulated environments (medical device, life sciences, pharmaceuticals, or similar).
- Advanced proficiency in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Lean, Six Sigma) and tools (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet).
Pay Rate: $60-65.00 per hour
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
