Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator for our AZ branch. This is a full-time position that will report to the Mesa office. The primary function of this role is to provide technical estimation of electrical projects from bid preparation through job closeout documentation to the customer.
Responsibilities
+ Perform quantity takeoff and entry into estimating software
+ Solicit and review vendor and subcontractor quotations
+ Review current material pricing levels
+ Estimate addenda as required
+ Visit site and/or attend site walk meetings
+ Review bid/construction schedules
+ Draft and submit proposal documents
+ Follow post bid closeout procedures
+ Attend weekly estimating team meetings
+ Perform additional duties as assigned
Essential Skills
+ 5+ years of experience as an electrical estimator
+ Experience supporting mission critical projects such as data centers and semiconductor projects
+ Electrical construction experience or a degree in construction management
+ Excellent human relations skills and ability to maintain confidentiality
+ Demonstrated conceptual estimates and financial analytical skills
+ Excellent oral and written communication skills
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience in electrical estimation
+ Experience in construction management
+ Proficiency in using estimating software
+ Ability to review and interpret material pricing and construction schedules
Work Environment
The position is based in the Mesa office. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, with specific start and end times to be determined. The company offers relocation assistance for the right candidate. The pay range for this position is $120000.00 - $150000.00/yr.
