Job Description

Position Mission

The Director of PMO is responsible and accountable for the oversight and management of the Project Management Office (PMO) and project management for Parasol’s clients. This position will manage project management standards both client facing and internal to Parasol. This position is responsible and accountable for management of the staff that support PMO and the associated responsibilities including ticket and project management.

Responsibilities

  • Management and oversight of PMO staff including all ticket and project related work as adhered to by internal policies and standards.
  • Management and oversight of the Parasol Alliance PMO to develop, implement and maintain project management standards for the optimal client experience.
  • Complete monthly PMO metrics documentation.
  • Recommendations and strategic planning around the most optimal projects and project processes for Parasol client environments.
  • Fostering a culture of growth, innovation and constant process improvement

Requirements

  • Healthcare experience preferred, long-term healthcare support experience is a plus.
  • PMP certification is a requirement.
  • At least seven years of experience managing projects.
  • At least seven years of operating management experience in a technical environment.
  • Proven ability to develop, implement and manage operational strategy.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills are required
  • The position is largely self-motivated and self-structured. The right candidate will be driven to be challenged and to succeed.
  • As a member of the leadership team, engage with the team to strategize, guide and support overall company vision and mission.
