Overview:
We are hiring a Mid-Level Cloud DevOps Engineer with strong AWS and Kubernetes (EKS) experience to support deployment, observability, and operational excellence of cloud-native applications. The candidate must have solid infrastructure-as-code, container orchestration, and monitoring experience.
Position:
Contract (6 months) Full-time, Onsite
Responsibilities:
Upgrade internal applications and third-party tools deployed on Amazon EKS
Provision, configure, and maintain AWS resources (EC2, EKS, S3, RDS, IAM)
Manage Kubernetes cluster upgrades, patching, and performance tuning
Maintain Helm charts and Docker image repositories
Troubleshoot pod evictions, throttling, and deployment issues
Enhance monitoring through Grafana, Loki, and Prometheus
Manage GitLab/Bitbucket-based CI/CD pipelines and CloudFormation Templates
Upgrade AMIs and associated AWS services
Collaborate with functional teams and maintain system observability
Requirement Qualifications:
5 7 years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or Cloud Engineering roles
Strong expertise in AWS (EKS, EC2, RDS, IAM, S3)
Kubernetes operations and Helm chart experience
Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js
Hands-on with Git, GitLab, Bitbucket, and Docker
Experience with Grafana, Loki, Prometheus
Infrastructure-as-Code using CloudFormation
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Ability to adapt and upskill with emerging technologies
Preferred Qualifications:
AWS Certification (Associate or DevOps Engineer)
Linux administration experience
Bash or Python scripting
Exposure to GitOps deployment workflows
Candidate Details:
Must be currently located in Malvern, PA
Strong hands-on experience with AWS, EKS, Kubernetes, Helm, Docker
Available to work onsite full-time without remote flexibility
Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
