Job Description:
The Billing Manager will be responsible for Managing the AR & billing team and activities. Managing billing processes: Overseeing the billing process for customer accounts, including ensuring invoices are sent out accurately and on time. Making sure all customer billing questions are answered in a timely manner.

This is a mid-level position, hybrid two days in office , located in the Headquarters office (Rockville, MD).  Local candidates only.

Essential Functions:

• Managing billing processes: Overseeing the billing process for customer accounts, including ensuring invoices are sent out accurately and on time  
• Working with other departments: Interfacing with accounts receivable, credit and collections, and client purchasing departments 
• Auditing billing records: Auditing billing records for accuracy 
• Hiring and training staff: Hiring, training, and supervising billing staff 
• Monitoring changes: Monitoring, responding to, and communicating changes in billing requirements, regulations, and reimbursement rates 
• Maintaining provider enrollments: Maintaining provider enrollments with payers 
• Providing customer service: Providing excellent customer service to all stakeholders, including customers and colleagues 
• Assisting with posting Journal entries
• Assist with month end close reconciliations on a need basis.

Required Skills/Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
• 5-10 years’ experience
• Experience with NetSuite
• Other Requirements such as:
  • Excellent attention to detail, especially with communication (written and verbal) and meeting deadlines
  • Self-starter
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • Self-confidence and respect for other people
  • Proficient in Excel, Microsoft Word and Outlook

Preferred Skills/Experience:

• Experience with SuiteBilling
• Other preferred areas such as certifications or other attributes:
  • Experience in a fast-paced, environment
  • Ability to prioritize tasks that change frequently and manage unexpected demands
  • Dependable, follows instructions and takes initiative to solve problems

The salary range for this position is $56,500 - $106,800.
