Transports the baggage of hotel guests in a prompt and courteous manner. Assists with group check ins/check outs. Ensures guests receive superior service.
Education
High school diploma or the equivalent.
Transports hotel guests' baggage in a prompt and courteous manner.
Greet and converse with guests. Provide needed assistance with baggage upon arrival in Valet area.
Carefully remove baggage from car, truck, or bus and transport to room after guest has checked in.
Pick up luggage upon departure and transport to appropriate area.
Maintain accurate records of all baggage stored in the storage area.

Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required. Must be able to read, understand and speak fluently in English. This is normally acquired through a high school diploma or equivalent.

Specialized Work Experience
Must be able to lift and carry upwards of 100 pounds. Ability to lift, bend, walk, reach overhead, as well as walk and stand for long periods of time. Must be able to tolerate temperature extremes while working from inside and outside of the hotel.
