St Catherine Of Siena Preschool in Horsham, PA (Montgomery County) is seeking an After-School CARES Teacher

Job Detail

The primary purpose of the After-School CARES Teacher is to supervise, interact, and engage with three and four-year-old students in a classroom and playground setting.

Working hours are Monday through Friday, 2:30 PM to 6 PM with the potential for additional hours.

Duties Include:

• Supervise the preschool students at all times to ensure safety and healthy interaction with other students
• Organize and lead daily activities for preschool students
• Assist the preschool students with daily activities such as arts and crafts, indoor learning centers, and afternoon snack
• Supervise the preschool students during gross motor activities: playing on playground equipment, riding bicycles, and taking walks as a group

Requirements*:

• High school diploma, or equivalent required
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a child-care facility or preschool
• Copies of updated clearances (FBI fingerprint, Child Abuse, and Criminal Background) will be required upon hiring
• CPR / AED certification (preferred)

* If the position is offered, the candidate will be required to complete the “Protecting God’s Students” training through the Archdiocese of Philadelphia within one month of hire.

*The hours for this position vary from 15 to 18 hours per week. This position is a part-time position and is not a benefits-eligible position.
