Acara Solutions is seeking a Web Designer to work with our client headquartered in Boston, MA. This position is 100% remote, part time hours!
Overview
As a Web Designer on our Web Experience Design team, you will craft interactive experiences that engage and inspire our audience while ensuring consistency within a growing design system. The ideal candidate has expertise in both UI and UX design, demonstrating both leadership and hands-on execution in large-scale digital projects. Job Responsibilities
● Lead the design and optimization of web experiences with a focus on the customer online learning experience.
● Collaborate with developers to ensure seamless implementation of designs.
● Analyze performance metrics, user data, and research insights to inform design decisions.
● Take a hands-on approach to the full design process - crafting everything from wire frames and process flows to final high-fidelity prototypes and detailed documentation.
● Partner with the brand creative team to ensure design consistency across all digital experiences.
● Clearly communicate and present design solutions to key stakeholders.
● Develop a deep understanding of Toast's brand to ensure consistency across surfaces.
● Leverage best practices in UI and UX design to create intuitive, user-friendly experiences.
Job Requirements
Do you have the right ingredients*? (Requirements)
● 6+ years of relevant experience in web and/or product design.
● A compelling portfolio that showcases strong craft and a track record of delivering impactful designs.
● Proficiency with Figma.
● Proven ability to leverage data to drive design decisions.
● Deep expertise in desktop, mobile, and responsive design strategies.
● Working knowledge of HTML and CSS to enhance collaboration with developers.
● Understanding of SEO principles and their impact on UX design.
● Experience working cross-functionally to drive strategic projects and achieve business goals.
● Exceptional attention to detail, from high-level strategy to final execution
