Job Description

Embark on a transformative journey as a Travel Occupational Therapist in Montana, anchored in the historic mining town of Butte and powered by a mission to help individuals reclaim independence, confidence, and purpose through thoughtful therapy and collaborative care. In this role, your expertise will illuminate pathways to meaningful daily function, guiding clients across inpatient, outpatient, and community settings with rigorous assessment, evidence-based interventions, and compassionate coaching. You’ll partner with physicians, nurses, therapists, and social supports to build comprehensive, person-centered plans that span physical, cognitive, and emotional recovery. And beyond the clinic walls, Montana reveals its own magic: soaring mountains, crystal-clear lakes, endless skies, and small-town charm that invites hiking, fishing, skiing, and quiet moments of reflection after a day of impactful work.

Butte offers a distinctive setting for your travel OT experience. This vibrant community blends rich cultural heritage with modern conveniences, a thriving arts scene, and ready access to outdoor adventures that can recharge your perspective between assignments. You’ll experience the benefits of a stable, supportive environment while enjoying the flexibility of travel opportunities that span the U.S., enabling you to broaden your clinical horizons, work with diverse patient populations, and sharpen your adaptability—without losing the security of a trusted partner by your side.

Your role centers on advancing patient outcomes through comprehensive OT practice. You will conduct thorough evaluations, interpret functional limitations, and design individualized treatment plans that promote independence in daily activities. From therapeutic activities and skill-building interventions to adaptive equipment recommendations, home safety assessments, orthotic fabrication support, manual techniques, and gait and balance training, you’ll help clients reclaim autonomy across multiple settings and stages of recovery. You’ll document progress with clear, compliant records, communicate treatment rationales to patients and families, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize discharge planning and transition of care. As you grow in this specialty, there are clear pathways for professional development—expanding into pediatrics, geriatrics, neuromuscular rehab, or community-based wellness programs—and opportunities to mentor emerging therapists and contribute to program development. In recognition of the complexity of travel roles, you’ll have access to structured onboarding, ongoing mentorship, and targeted learning experiences designed to deepen clinical expertise and leadership potential.

The position comes with competitive compensation and robust support. Expect a weekly pay range of $1,968 to $2,103, with guaranteed hours of 36.0 per week, and an initial multi-week assignment beginning December 15, 2025. We understand the realities of travel therapy, so you’ll also receive housing assistance to minimize logistical stress, plus the potential for a sign-on bonus and contract extensions if you choose to continue after the initial term. You’ll never travel alone in this role: a dedicated support team provides round-the-clock assistance, ensuring you have responsive guidance and resources whenever you need them, whether you’re navigating a new facility, accessing equipment, or coordinating with families and care teams across time zones. In addition, you’ll have access to our broader network of travel clinicians, ongoing clinical resources, and opportunities to participate in continuing education and skill-building that align with your career goals.

Our company is grounded in empowerment and respect for the professionals who dedicate themselves to others’ well-being. We’re committed to creating a path for advancement that recognizes your expertise, celebrates your impact, and fosters a supportive, collaborative environment in which you can thrive. You’ll find a culture that values curiosity, resilience, and teamwork, with leadership that listens, mentors, and partners with you to shape a rewarding career narrative. Whether you’re seeking to deepen a specialty, explore diverse settings, or pursue leadership roles, you’ll have access to resources and opportunities designed to elevate your practice and your quality of life as a traveling clinician.

If you’re ready to bring healing, independence, and hope to clients in Montana and beyond, we invite you to apply. This is your moment to join a company that values your contribution and invests in your professional development, while offering the flexibility to explore new communities, build lasting clinical relationships, and make a lasting impact. Picture yourself serving in Butte, starting December 15, 2025, and shaping outcomes that matter. Your journey as a Travel Occupational Therapist awaits—apply now to begin a purpose-filled chapter that honors both your expertise and your ambition.

Note: The hours and pay rates listed are estimates and may vary. Final compensation packages and guaranteed hours will be confirmed during the hiring process.
