Title Clerk

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Title Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for processing and maintaining vehicle titles and registrations, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations, and providing excellent customer service to our customers. Job Responsibilities:

• Process title documents ensuring accuracy in all transactions and submit to the state DMV via WebDealer
• Maintains follow-up on all incoming titles 
• Maintain and reconcile schedules for tax, title and license payables 
• Stay updated on changes in title regulations and procedures to ensure compliance
• Maintain organized records of all title transactions and related documentation
• Collaborate with Finance and Sales departments to assist with transactions requiring title processing

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a title clerk or in a similar administrative role within the automotive industry preferred
• Strong research skills, particularly with IDMS tools and databases.
• Experience with WebDealer preferred
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Knowledge of state and federal laws regarding vehicle titles and registrations is a plus
• Familiarity with title processing procedures is a plus
• Proficient in using dealership management software and Microsoft Office Suite

Schedule:

• 8AM - 5PM
• Monday - Friday
• Saturday as needed
