Job Description

Trojan Roofing, a leading name in the storm restoration and exterior home remodeling industry, is immediately hiring a Territory Sales Manager

The Sales Manager plays a vital role on our sales leadership team — contributing individually while also supporting and developing our outside sales force. We are looking for the right individual with proven experience in the storm restoration and insurance claim process for wind and hail damage to expand our footprint in the Indy market, including key metro and surrounding areas. The Territory Sales Manager will ensure our sales team reaches optimal, consistent performance by providing continuous field support. This person will be relied on as an expert in closing with insurance company adjusters to secure the maximum amount homeowners are entitled to for roofing, siding, window, and gutter projects, as well as assisting with retail sales opportunities.

The Territory Sales Manager requires someone who is physically able and willing to get on ladders and climb roofs of all sizes, stories, and steepness. This individual must be passionate about building and leading a team, while understanding they will still be actively selling and contributing to revenue themselves

Compensation & Benefits for Sales Manager

  • Bi-weekly draw advancement: $2,000 – $4,000
  • Commission on approved sales (paid on the total project amount)
  • Earning potential: $110,000 – $320,000+ per year

Qualifications for Territory Sales Manager

  • 1–2 years of prior experience in sales management, team training, or a supervisory role preferred
  • Proven background in roofing sales, storm restoration (wind and hail claims), or the home improvement industry Required
  • Physically capable of climbing ladders and safely walking on roofs of varying heights and slopes
  • Self-motivated and able to thrive while working independently without constant supervision
  • Must own or be able to obtain a smartphone capable of running apps, storing files, and taking/uploading photos
  • Must have a valid driver's license (from any U.S. state)
  • Prior experience working with a CRM platform is required
  • Familiarity with a structured, consultative sales process is preferred

Responsibilities for Territory Sales Manager

  • Contribute individually by generating leads through door-to-door canvassing, networking, and referral business
  • Interview, hire, and assist with onboarding while training new hires in the field as part of our structured training program
  • Attend and convert adjuster appointments for your team (meet with the insurance adjuster on-site)
  • Run and close preset, company-assigned leads (appointments)
  • Help oversee and maximize efficiency in your assigned territory for yourself and the existing sales team
  • Perform exterior property inspections to identify wind and hail damage
  • Provide clear recommendations to homeowners based on inspection results
  • Review scope of work, explain details, and sign contracts with homeowners
  • Consistently update and track job progress in the CRM, canvassing app, and sales pipeline
  • Follow and uphold the company sales system, policies, and processes
  • Build trust and long-term relationships with homeowners by under-promising and over-delivering
  • Educate and inform customers on industry products, trends, and Trojan Roofing's process
  • Maintain constant communication with homeowners, sales reps, and office staff
  • Lead weekly sales meetings to review performance and strategy
