Position Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Virtual Special Education Teacher to join our remote team. In this role, you will provide virtual instruction to students with disabilities, ensuring their Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) are effectively implemented and monitored for success.

Key Responsibilities

Design and Implement IEPs: Create and execute individualized education plans for students with special needs, aligning with their unique goals and abilities.
Deliver Engaging Online Lessons: Use provided online learning tools and platforms to conduct interactive and inclusive virtual lessons.
Adapt Instruction: Tailor curriculum and teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of students with varying disabilities, including learning disabilities, autism, and emotional challenges.
Monitor Student Progress: Evaluate student progress through virtual assessments and maintain accurate data collection to inform future instruction.
Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with parents, caregivers, and other educational professionals to support each student's growth and development.
Maintain Records: Keep detailed, accurate, and up-to-date documentation of student performance, IEP goals, and other relevant information.

Qualifications

Educational Background: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or a related field.
Certification: Valid Michigan Special Education Teaching Certificate or eligibility for certification.
Experience: Proven experience working with students with disabilities, including those with learning disabilities, autism, and other developmental or emotional needs.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in using virtual learning platforms such as Zoom, Google Classroom, and Microsoft Teams.
