Tax Preparer (Seasonal)
$22–$28 per hour | Central Illinois
A well-established, locally owned organization in Central Illinois is seeking a Tax Preparer to join its team for the upcoming tax season.
Compensation & Schedule

• $22–$28 per hour, based on experience

• Prepare individual and/or business tax returns
• Review client financial information for accuracy and completeness
• Identify tax-saving opportunities while ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations
• Communicate clearly with clients regarding tax matters and filing requirements
• Use professional tax software to prepare and file returns

• Prior experience preparing tax returns (professional or seasonal)
• Strong understanding of federal and Illinois tax regulations
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple returns during peak season
• Client-focused mindset with strong communication skills
