Position Summary:

We're looking for a customer-focused, detail-oriented individual who can assist with leasing and occupancy responsibilities in an affordable housing setting. The ideal candidate will have experience with Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) programs and fluency in both Spanish and English. A COS certification is a plus but not required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet prospective residents and tour the community
• Assist with application and lease paperwork
• Provide outstanding customer service to current and prospective residents
• Respond to resident concerns and submit service requests
• Maintain compliance with HUD, Tax Credit, and other affordable housing programs
• Perform administrative tasks such as answering phones, filing, and preparing marketing materials
• Support resident retention initiatives and community events
• Collaborate with the property management team to ensure a well-maintained, welcoming environment

Qualifications:

• Bilingual: Fluent in Spanish and English (required)
• 6+ months of leasing or occupancy experience in a multifamily or affordable housing environment preferred
• Familiarity with property management software such as Yardi, OneSite, or BlueMoon
• Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations
• Experience with LIHTC or other affordable housing programs preferred
• COS certification is a plus
• Reliable transportation
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Team-oriented with a proactive mindset
