Job Description

System One is assisting a Tulsa family office with a search for a Tax Accountant.  This position will report to the Tax Manager and work with a small, collaborative team that is growing.  

Responsibilities:

• Prepare a variety of income tax returns for the family office entities and individuals meeting tax deadlines
• Determine estimated tax projections
• Stay current on tax law changes and utilize tax research and planning skills to identify and communicate problems and/or opportunities and propose solutions as a family advocate
• Develop working relationships with internal and external accountants to improve information sharing, data accuracy and consistency
• Effectively communicate results to family members and internally on project information
• Consistently be looking for ways to improve processes to gain efficiencies 
• Adhere to company policies and procedures

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of tax related experience
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required, CPA preferred
• Understanding of basic accounting and bookkeeping along with knowledge of tax compliance and all types of tax returns; partnership returns and individual 1040 returns a plus
• Proficient in tax software and Excel
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize work to meet deadlines
• Team player who treats others with respect
• Willing to follow directions and instructions from members of management
• Strong work ethic with a great attitude

Salary:  $65K - $85K DOE
