Your Role as a Substitute Teacher:

Sub Teacher Source is actively hiring substitute teachers ready to make a difference in the classroom. With high demand across partner schools , we offer seasonal and year-round placements that give you the flexibility to teach when and where it works best for you.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as a substitute teacher in K–12 classrooms
• Deliver instruction and manage the classroom using lesson plans from the full-time teacher
• Foster a positive, productive teaching environment
• Communicate with school staff to ensure a smooth day for students
• Uphold all district and school policies while substitute teaching

Requirements:

• 21 years of age or older
• 36+ college credit hours
• Missouri Substitute Certificate or Missouri Teaching License issued by DESE (if you don't have one, we will assist with helping you obtain one)
• Previous teaching or substitute teaching experience is a plus
• Reliable, adaptable, and ready to jump into various school settings
• Passionate about education and supporting student success
