Job Description

Location: Onsite – Norfolk County, MA (8:30am–5:00pm)
Salary: ~$80,000+ uncapped commission
Schedule: Full-time, permanent


A mission-driven staffing organization serving the healthcare, education, and human services sectors is seeking a Staffing Manager / Team Lead to grow its local office. This is a player/coach role where you’ll oversee a small team of recruiters while also managing your own sales desk — developing client partnerships, driving revenue, and ensuring high-quality service delivery.


Key Responsibilities

• Prospect, develop, and manage client accounts across healthcare, education, and human services sectors
• Lead and mentor a team of 5–8 recruiters; provide coaching, training, and ongoing feedback
• Drive high-volume outreach and client interaction to fill open roles quickly with well-matched candidates
• Forecast client needs and align recruiting strategies to ensure consistent coverage
• Expand the contractor database by sourcing, interviewing, and qualifying professionals
• Oversee compliance and credential verification processes to maintain service quality and integrity
• Resolve client service challenges in a timely, professional manner; follow up to ensure satisfaction and retention
• Track performance metrics, monitor team KPIs, and partner with leadership to plan office growth

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in staffing, recruiting, or business development (healthcare/behavioral health a plus)
• At least 2 years of experience mentoring or leading a team in a fast-paced environment
• Proven ability to meet and exceed sales/revenue goals
• Strong client relationship and communication skills, with comfort handling escalations
• Highly organized with excellent time management and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and experience using CRM/ATS systems
• Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent professional experience
