Project Kuiper is an initiative to increase global broadband access through a constellation of 3,236 satellites in low Earth orbit (LEO). Its mission is to bring fast, affordable broadband to unserved and underserved communities around the world. Project Kuiper will help close the digital divide by delivering fast, affordable broadband to a wide range of customers, including consumers, businesses, government agencies, and other organizations operating in places without reliable connectivity.
As part of Kuiper's Inventory and Fulfillment Technology (IFT) team, you will play a pivotal role in building and launching global fulfillment capabilities. You will lead the design and implementation of innovative solutions that optimize inventory management, global network architecture, system integration, and operational planning. Your expertise in advanced supply chain technologies, combined with strong analytical skills and a customer-focused approach, will drive efficiency improvements, cost reductions, and elevate the overall fulfillment experience for Kuiper’s global customers.
Key job responsibilities
Collaborate with global supply chain partners to develop launch strategies and optimize network designs that align with Kuiper's unique business goals and regional demands and refurbishment operations in each launch country.
Lead cross-functional initiatives to harmonize global returns operations, inventory placement, and refurbishment strategies, ensuring seamless operations and cross-functional alignment across and within business models.
Define and deliver technical system requirements across a portfolio of software systems, leveraging existing systems and launching novel software to automate business workflows and reporting throughout the supply chain.
Partner with regional business development, operations, finance, and legal teams to create tailored refurbishment, fulfillment, warehousing, and recycling strategies, optimizing Kuiper cost to serve across our customer base.
Export Control Requirement: Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 7+ years in supply chain, product/program management, marketing, business development, or technology, with a track record of leading large-scale projects.
- 7+ years combining supply chain, product, and program management, driving strategic initiatives for process improvement and operational efficiency.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related field from an accredited institution.
