Job Description

Akkodis is seeking a SQL Database Administrator for a Contract job with a client in Plano, TX/ Kennesaw, GA (Hybrid) . You will be responsible for managing operational reporting across multiple business teams.

Rate Range: $58/hour to $68/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

SQL Database Administrator job responsibilities include:

• Managing and maintaining operational reporting across various business areas and teams.
• Utilizing Autosys for job scheduling and automation of database processes.
• Designing and creating visual reports using Tableau and SSRS to support data-driven decision-making.
• Ensuring optimal performance, security, and availability of SQL Server and Oracle databases.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues.
• Leveraging Unix utilities and scripting for database management and automation tasks.
  
  

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in database administration, with a focus on SQL Server, Oracle, and reporting tools.
• Extensive experience with Autosys, SAS/SQL, and Tableau for operational reporting.
• SSRS and MicroStrategy are the important must-haves.
• SAS is optional and SQL Server and Oracle expertise will be needed.
• Strong knowledge of Unix operating systems and Unix utilities for database management.

Pay Details: $58.00 to $68.00 per hour
