Position Details:

Job Type: Full-Time

Caseload: 11 students
Position Type: Contracted

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) designed to meet the specific needs of each student.
Provide engaging and differentiated instruction to a diverse group of students, ensuring that each receives the support they need to succeed.
Collaborate effectively with general education teachers, parents, and support staff to ensure comprehensive support for students.
Monitor and track student progress, making necessary adjustments to IEP goals as required.
Participate in virtual IEP meetings, advocating for student success and ensuring all needs are addressed.
Maintain clear and accurate documentation of student progress in compliance with relevant regulations and guidelines.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education.
Valid teaching certification in North Carolina.
Experience working with toddlers and medically fragile children.
Strong technological skills and familiarity with remote teaching tools.
Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
