Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Special Education Teacher to join our team and make a positive impact on students with diverse learning needs. Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) that are personalized to meet the unique needs of students with disabilities.
Provide direct instruction and adapt teaching methods to ensure each student receives the support they need to succeed.
Work collaboratively with general education teachers, staff, and families to create a team approach that supports student progress.
Track and report on student progress, making adjustments to teaching methods as necessary.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student performance and educational documentation.
Participate in IEP meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and other essential school-related activities.
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student growth, independence, and engagement.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Special Education (Master's preferred).
Valid Special Education Teaching License.
Experience working with a variety of disabilities, including autism, learning disabilities, and emotional/behavioral disorders.
Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively with a team of educators, families, and support staff.
A genuine passion for supporting students and helping them achieve their full potential.

Compensation & Benefits:

Hourly Pay: $36 - $41/hour (based on experience).
Full-Time Position with consistent working hours.
