Guarantee Roofing & Sheet Metal is commercial roofing contractor located in Sioux Falls, SD.

We work on projects in Minnesota, Iowa, Nebraska, and South Dakota. Guarantee Roofing & Sheet Metal has been servicing the Sioux Falls area since 1978. We pride ourselves on providing our customers with quality roofing systems and metal wall systems that are built to last. We are looking for Sheet Metal Installer to join our team and become an integral part of our company.

Here’s what you’ll do:

• Commercial installation and repair of metal roofing systems, wall panels, and custom sheet metal work.
• Understand and comply with OSHA safety guidelines.
• Safely set up ladders, scaffolding, and fall protection as required. Adhering to safety rules of the company and current jobsite protocols per general contractor.
• Read and understand blueprints. (Not a requirement for employment)
• Communicate in a professional manner with fellow employees as well as other contractors.
• Load necessary equipment and materials and securely transport to job site.
• Maintain project site by keeping area free of debris and trash.
• Measure, cut, fit, and trim 22-24ga metal. Achieving a water-tight seal and aesthetically appealing finished product.
• Install roof edge materials, standing seam metal roofing and various wall panels and siding.

Requirements for the position

• Valid driver’s license (preferred).
• Experience working with aviation snips, hand seamers and power tools.
• Ability to read a tape measure accurately and basic math skills.
• Ability to carry out instructions communicated in writing, orally, or in diagram form.
• Maintaining a high level of detail-oriented quality of work.
• Excellent time management skills.
