The UPS Store on Matt Highway in Cumming, GA, is seeking a motivated, tech-savvy Shipping & Printing Specialist to join our customer-focused team. This role is dynamic—you'll be advising customers on everything from worldwide shipping to high-quality printing services.

Your Core Responsibilities:

• Shipping & Logistics: Master the logistics of UPS , USPS (as an Approved Postal Provider), and international freight , expertly advising customers on the best carrier and service level.
• Retail & Printing Services: Operate copiers, printers, and design software to fulfill orders for flyers, business cards, and other small business printing needs.
• Certified Packing: Become a Certified Packing Expert , providing custom packaging solutions and ensuring fragile or high-value items are secured for safe transit.
• Diverse Services: Manage mailbox rentals, notary services, document shredding, and passport photo capture.
• POS & Cash Handling: Accurately process transactions using our Point-of-Sale (POS) system, handle cash, and perform end-of-day reconciliation.

Mandatory Hiring Requirements (Non-Negotiable):

• Weekend Availability: You must be available to work shifts on Saturdays and Sundays (e.g., Sat 9 AM – 3 PM, Sun 10 AM – 3 PM). If you cannot commit to consistent weekend work, please do not apply.
• Computer & Typing Efficiency: Exceptional proficiency in basic computer operation and the ability to type quickly and accurately (40+ WPM preferred) to maintain transaction speed.
• Communication: Clear, professional, and friendly verbal communication is a must for delivering world-class customer service.
• Pace & Stamina: Ability to handle a high-volume, fast-paced retail environment, including standing for extended periods and lifting packages up to 40 lbs (up to 70 lbs with assistance).
