Position Overview Flow is seeking highly experienced and highly dedicated
Senior Web Developer Interns to join our world-class engineering organization. This role requires extensive experience in full-stack web development, with a strong emphasis on both front-end and back-end technologies. The ideal candidate will have deep experience with
Django for back-end development, and
Three.js ,
Babylon.js ,
Next.js ,
React.js, Redux, Hooks, Tailwind CSS for front-end development. Responsibilities include developing, maintaining, and debugging Flow's custom corporate website, managing API development and integration, and ensuring the flawless operation of both the user interface and server-side components.
In addition to
Django , you should be proficient in handling
API development , including API calls, routes, endpoints, tokens, authorization, and authentication (OAuth2.0). Experience with HTML5,
Tailwind CSS , and JavaScript frameworks like Three.js, Babylon.js, Next.js, React.js, including Hooks and
Framer Motion , is required for front-end development. Your role will also involve collaborating on the system architecture and cloud infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and scalability.
Ideal candidates should have previous experience with
e-commerce or
SaaS account portal engineering ,
payment gateways , and
billing management development for
self-service enablement. This will include building secure, scalable systems that allow customers to manage their accounts, handle billing, and access payment capabilities autonomously. This expertise is crucial for building robust and scalable back-end systems that support subscription-based SaaS and automated billing solutions.
The ideal candidate is an experienced and dedicated senior web developer with a passion for creating efficient, robust, and scalable web systems. You should have solid experience in both front-end and back-end web development. This position is ideal for candidates who are new graduates or have recently obtained a
Master’s degree in Computer Science and are looking to apply their extensive web development experience in a professional industry environment.
This internship is remote-only, requires a commitment of at least 40 hours per week, and requires a commitment of at least a very bare minimum of 6 full months at the company. - MUST BE ABLE TO COMMIT STAYING AT THE COMPANY FOR AT LEAST A BARE MINIMUM OF 6 FULL MONTHS.***
Key Responsibilities - Front-End Development:
- Develop, enhance, and maintain the user interface of Flow’s corporate website using Three.js, Babylon.js, Next.js, React.js, and its ecosystem, including Redux, Hooks, and Framer Motion.
- Ensure responsive design and optimal performance across all devices using HTML5 and Tailwind CSS.
- Implement interactive UI components to provide a visually enticing user experience.
- Back-End Development:
- Design, develop, and maintain server-side logic and databases using Django.
- Integrate front-end components with back-end services to ensure a fully functional and dynamic website.
- Develop and manage APIs to ensure smooth data exchange between the front-end and back-end systems.
- API Development:
- Build and maintain RESTful APIs to support website functionalities and integrations.
- Ensure APIs are secure, efficient, and scalable.
- Data Handling:
- Work with JSON for data exchange between front-end and back-end systems.
- Ensure data integrity and optimal performance when handling large datasets.
- Quality Assurance (QA):
- Conduct thorough QA testing to ensure the website is bug-free, secure, and performs optimally.
- Perform unit testing, integration testing, and end-to-end testing to validate code quality.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve website issues promptly.
- Collaboration:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, design, and content teams to align website functionalities with business goals.
- Provide technical guidance and share knowledge with other teammembers.
- Documentation:
- Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for website architecture, APIs, and codebase.
- Ensure all code is well-documented and adheres to best practices.
Qualifications - Education: Master’s Degree in Computer Science.
- Experience:
- 4+ years of hands-on experience in Django, and Three.js, Babylon.js, Next.js, React.js, Redux, and Hooks.
- Experience with HTML5, Tailwind CSS, Framer Motion, and different UI libraries.
- Expert-level skills in API development and JSON.
- Extensive experience in QA testing, including unit testing, integration testing, and end-to-end testing.
- Expert with Test-Driven Development, and SonarQube.
- Skills:
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
- Deep understanding of web performance optimization and responsive design principles.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently in a remote environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality code.
- Time Commitment:
- MUST BE ABLE TO DEDICATE AT LEAST 40 HOURS PER WEEK TO THIS POSITION.
- MUST BE ABLE TO STAY AT THE COMPANY FOR AT LEAST 6 MONTHS.
Preferred Qualifications - Experience with Framer Motion for animations and interactive components.
- Familiarity with modern DevOps practices for deployment and maintenance.
- Prior experience contributing to large-scale web projects in a corporate or startup environment.
