Position Details:
You will lead the operations of a high volume, order fulfillment, multi-shift distribution center. You will provide direct leadership of up to 4 exempt direct reports and indirect leadership of a large non-exempt employee population.
You will oversee the function to ensure accurate product receipt, order fulfillment, and the optimization of resources and processes while operating within budget. Develop processes to ensure compliance and employee programs to promote an environment where employees are empowered and committed to the success of Grainger.
In the Senior Manager role, you will be responsible for metrics affecting safety, quality, and cost. You will lead by example and teach your direct reports how to improve performance using a variety of continuous improvement techniques. Grainger aspires to be a local employer of choice. You will determine the engagement strategy for the department and leverage the Grainger Principles to influence culture throughout the building.
You will report to the Senionr Manager, Site Lead and this role is based in our Louisville, KY distribtution center. This is an overnight shift. Relocation will be provided as needed.
