Senior Sushi Chef Responsibilities:
- Prepare high-quality sushi dishes including nigiri, sashimi, maki rolls, and specialty rolls
- Create unique and visually appealing sushi presentations
- Ensure freshness and quality of ingredients used in sushi preparation
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the sushi station
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations in the BOH - Sushi department
- Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate new techniques into sushi preparation
Senior Sushi Chef Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Sushi Chef in a fast-paced restaurant environment
- Extensive knowledge of various sushi types and preparation methods
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a team setting
- Excellent knife skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills
- Certification from a culinary school or equivalent experience
Senior Sushi Chef Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Culinary school certification preferred
