Role: Senior React Developer

Location: Kalamazoo, Michigan (Remote Working)

Type: Contract

Responsibilities and Day-to-Day View:

• Responsible for leading, designing, developing, and maintaining user interface components using React Native, React.js concepts and workflows such as Redux, Flux, and Webpack.
• Thought leadership. Ability to conduct code review of peer's development.
• Ability to influence development teams within the organization to modernize development practices.
• Provide technical expertise across multiple areas of application development
• Lead developing functional solution, design, application and integration development best practices, enterprise architecture standards, environment management and testing. Design, code, test, debug and document software according to the functional requirements or user stories and coding standards.
• Systems development life cycle adhering to Agile methodologies.
• Work closely with developers, product, business and a variety of end users to ensure technical compatibility and user satisfaction.
• Experience in troubleshooting and resolving Enterprise application environment performance issues, connectivity issues, security issues, etc.
• Identify opportunities for application optimization, redesign, or development within the platform that will support multiple business units.
• Drive, develop and maintain numerous project deliverables that support the program, including functional and non-functional specifications.
• Stay up to date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and frameworks.
• Monitoring and improving frontend performance.
• Maintain code quality, best practices, security, organization, and documentation.

Required Skills:

• 7+ years of frontend development experience.
• Strong understanding of ReactJS and its core principles.
• Experience with server-side rendering (Next.js) or static site generation.
• Experience with popular ReactJS workflows (Flux/Redux).
• Indepth knowledge of JavaScript, CSS, HTML and other frontend technologies.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Experience with version control tools like Git.
• Familiarity with modern front-end development tools and libraries (e.g., NPM, Yarn).
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs.
• Excellent communication skills.
