A multidisciplinary design firm in Chicago is looking to add a Senior Interior Designer to their team!
Job Description - Responsible for participating in conceptual design up until construction documentation phases
- Will work closely with the Principals and Owner of the firm to deliver design ideas
- Responsible for executing design projects, managing client expectations, overseeing project budgets, reviewing work from internal team members, and leading design presentations
- Responsible for space planning and FF&E selections
- Expected to have a thorough understanding of the studio's design process and able to train and encourage the development of other designers
- Responsible for managing a team of 2-3 designers per projects, however could vary depending on project needs
- Responsible for utilizing Adobe Suite, specifically InDesign and Photoshop for client presentations
- Responsible for utilizing SketchUp and Enscape for reviewing 3D models
Qualifications - Degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture
- 8+ years of professional experience in a design firm, focusing on custom hospitality projects
- At least 5 years of experience working on food/beverage/restaurant projects
- This is a creative focused role (concept - CD), however candidates should have experience supporting projects from concept - CA
- Experience managing a small team (2-3 people)
- Experience working directly with clients, leading client presentations
- Experience working in InDesign, Photoshop, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Enscape, Bluebeam
Pay And Benefits The pay range for this position is $38.46 - $48.08
