Job Description

The Senior Buyer will procure a wide range of engineered components and materials used in the assembly of products that touch our lives and make them healthier and safer. This role offers room for advancement for an experienced and well-rounded sourcing professional. As a Senior Buyer you will build strong supplier relationships, and drive cost savings while ensuring project deadlines are met.

Key Responsibilities

• Negotiate pricing, terms and supply agreements of electromechanical components, metals, plastics, electronics, and assemblies.
• Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships, including globally scaled vendors and local suppliers. Ensure on-time delivery.
• Collaborate with quality, engineering and manufacturing teams to translate design requirements into supplier specifications.
• Manager purchase orders, RFP/RFQ processes, contracts, pricing models and compliance documentation.
• Resolve quality or delivery issues proactively.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field.
• 4+ years of progressive experience in purchasing or supply chain.
• Proficiency with ERP systems and MS Office.
• Strong negotiation, contract management, and vendor management experience.
• Excellent communication skills and project management skills. Ability to multi-task with accuracy.
• Must be deadline driven.
