Job Description

Position Title : Senior Shell Script Developer

Boston, MA

Hybrid onsite 3-4/Days per week

back up- key skills - Apache Spark, sql, data modeling, data brick nice to have

Key Responsibilities

• Design, Develop and maintain complex shell scripts to automate system administration tasks and data processing workflows related to Real Time Payments
• Ensure Scripts are optimized for Performance and adhere to best coding practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate RTP solutions seamlessly into existing systems.
• Create, Manage and monitor AutoSys Job schedules to automate various processes.
• Trouble shoot and resolve job failures, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
• Develop basic SQL queries to interact with database as required by shell scripts.
• Participate actively in Agile ceremonies
• Implement monitoring solutions to proactively identify and address system issues.

Required Skills &Experience

• 6-8 years of experience in Unix/Linux shell scripting .
• Experience with Real-Time Payment Systems is mandatory.
• Proven experience working with an Agile development environment
• Strong Analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex systems.
• Proactive approach to identify potentials problems and implementing effective solutions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience with AutoSys scheduling tool .
• Proficiency in SQL Development.
• Experience with Python scripting .
