The Opportunity

Substance Salon is seeking a career-driven Salon Coordinator / Assistant Manager to help lead daily operations and support continued growth. This is not an entry-level front desk role . We are looking for a dependable, business-minded professional who understands structure, accountability, and what it takes to keep a high-performing salon running smoothly.

After more than 16 years in business , we are entering our next phase and need someone who can step in immediately, take ownership, and grow with us long term.

What This Role Is

• Leadership role supporting ownership and salon operations

• Oversight of front desk and daily workflow

• Schedule management with a focus on keeping chairs consistently booked

• Staff coordination, onboarding support, and accountability

• Systems-driven position focused on organization, consistency, and results

What This Role Is Not

• Not for first-time job seekers

• Not for candidates without management or operations experience

• Not a temporary or short-term position

Hiring Priority

We are prioritizing applicants who can apply, interview, and begin paid training immediately .

• Paid training starts at $18 per hour , beginning Monday

• After a 30 day review , hourly rate increases to $20-25 per hour based on sales performance

• Additional earning opportunities become available as performance benchmarks are met

Compensation and Earning Potential

• Minimum 3 years experience in salon management or comparable service-based leadership role
