Position: Sales Manager (Exempt, Full-time)

Location: Elk Grove Village, Illinois (On-site)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Sales Manager to join a growing company in the food industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food-related sales, proven leadership skills, and the ability to drive strategic business growth.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets
• Manage and lead the sales team, including setting goals, providing coaching, and monitoring performance
• Identify new business opportunities and strengthen relationships with existing clients
• Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, logistics, operations) to ensure smooth order fulfillment and customer satisfaction 
• Analyze market trends and sales data to propose effective sales initiatives
• Represent the company at industry events and trade shows as needed
• Other duties may be assigned as needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in the food industry (sales, business development, or related roles) is preferred.
• 2+ years in a management or supervisory position is preferred.
• Business-level fluency in both English and Japanese
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and multicultural environment
• Must be legally authorized to work in the US

Compensation

DOE $80,000.00-$95,000.00/year +Benefit package, including health, vision, dental, and 401K with company matching. The salary range is an estimate. Final compensation will be determined during the interview process and based on the candidate's experience and qualifications.
