Residential Audio Video Master Technician

Description:

Home Technology Experts (HTE) is seeking highly skilled installation technicians for meticulous installations of recessed speakers, TVs, motorized shades, wiring enclosures, equipment racks, and more.
The role involves working both independently and with a team to complete installs and service calls. Additional responsibilities include timely completion of daily procedures and paperwork, vehicle care and maintenance, and delivering excellent communication with clients and partners.
Key job responsibilities include complex audio system design, programming of advanced systems such as Control4 and Savant, Lutron training, support of legacy systems, multi-room system setup, security system programming, cable systems setup, advanced troubleshooting, networking, video installations, setup and calibration, control system design, theater room installation, and satellite system design.
Technicians will also be responsible for designing Bose solutions and maintaining industry certifications.

Requirements:

Must be comfortable working alone or in a team and communicate clearly and concisely.
Must have a clean driver's license and maintain a positive, problem-solving attitude.
Minimum requirements include strong verbal and written communication skills, highly detailed and organized, multitask-driven, and ability to work on a rotating on-call schedule.
Proficiency in senior-level qualifications, assist in training and evaluation of junior staff, computer skills, clean driving record and background check (for DCJS certification), and at least 3 years of field experience are required.
Advanced knowledge in audio, video, control, network, and security systems is needed.
Certifications such as CEDIA ESTIII, Control4 Tech 2, and completion of ProSource University within the first year are preferred.
