Title: REMOTE - Accountant (CPA Required)
Compensation: 75K to 100K + Bonus
Environment:  REMOTE (Near DC Metro)

This great career opportunity will be with a growing AI Tech client of Cordia by Cherry Bekaert. This client is PE backed, and their AI product is industry leading. This role is fully remote with occasional travel to Washington, DC. Must by local to the DC metro/Baltimore area.
 
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintain accurate accounting records per US GAAP.
• Prepare and input journal entries in NetSuite, ensuring accuracy.
• Perform monthly account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Support month-end closings to meet deadlines.
• Improve accounting workflows for efficiency.
• Promote continuous improvement and team success.
• Assist with financial projects and company goals.
• Collaborate across departments and handle ad hoc requests.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• 2 + years of experience in a large Public Accounting firm
• CPA or Active CPA track, required
