We are seeking a Registered Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. As a registered dental hygienist, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent dental care and promoting optimal oral health for our patients. You will be responsible for performing various dental hygiene procedures, educating patients on proper oral hygiene practices, and assisting the dentist in providing high-quality dental treatments.

Schedule: 

• This is a full-time position
• The office is open Monday-Friday 

Qualifications

• Diploma/Certificate from Accredited Hygiene Program is required
• Be licensed or able to be licensed in the state of California
• A minimum of one year of experience preferred
• Highly motivated, with a demonstrated passion for continuous growth and development
• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
• Strong organization, time management, and attention to detail

Responsibilities include: 

• Perform dental cleanings and assist with other dental procedures as needed
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices
• Conduct patient assessments and record dental documentation accurately
• Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality
• Utilize aseptic techniques to ensure a safe and clean environment
• Demonstrate knowledge of dental anatomy and pathology
• Proficiency in using Dentrix systems for managing dental records
• Monitor and record vital signs during dental procedures
