Private Investment Funds Associate | Mid-Level

Our AmLaw 100 client is expanding its Private Investment Funds bench across California. The practice is nationally ranked for fund formation and venture capital work, and advises on high-visibility matters for technology and life sciences sponsors and investors.
Role Summary
You will represent domestic and international venture capital and private equity sponsors on fund structuring, formation, and operations. Work includes portfolio investments, co-invests, financings, acquisitions, and alternative investment structures. Expect responsibility for substantial workstreams while collaborating across offices.
Candidate Profile
• 3–6 years of Private Investment Funds experience at a sophisticated law firm
• Hands-on formation experience for VC, growth, and PE vehicles, including cross-border elements
• Confident running discrete workstreams and mentoring juniors
• Strong drafting and client-facing skills
• California bar admission, or eligibility to obtain promptly
