SMBHD ( ( is a boutique Salesforce consulting firm with little interest in big corporation strategies and over-the-shoulder micromanagement. We're looking for  self-starting, self-managing team members at all levels who can apply their expertise in Salesforce to solve real-life business challenges using the technology at hand, alongside a healthy dose of practical business savvy and human empathy. We specialize in working with small and mid-level businesses, crafting customized solutions tailored to each client's unique needs.

As a Principal Salesforce Consultant you will be a senior member of our core Salesforce delivery team focused on delivering Salesforce implementations to our Clients. As a critical member of the project team you will work on many of Salesforce's products from Sales and Service to Communities, Platform and Marketing Clouds -- an opportunity to have a major impact on our Client's businesses. Further, you will often be a senior member of project teams accountable for delivering some of our most complex implementations.

As a Principal Salesforce Consultant, you will report to a core project team that is responsible for a portfolio of projects and delivery. You'll be accountable for gathering business requirements and defining user stories and working with a team to configure, setup and deliver Salesforce to our clients. You'll also be accountable for helping manage and guide other team members to ensure high-quality, innovative solutions are delivered to our clients. You will have the opportunity to continue to learn the ins and outs of Salesforce, and have an opportunity to work with many different types of businesses.

You Will:

  • Gather and document user stories and functional requirements.
  • Collaborate with Technical Architects to develop complex solutions based on Salesforce.
  • Deliver declarative configurations in Salesforce and related Salesforce products.
  • Define the proper solution to support your Client's requirements.
  • Help forecast and plan resource allocations to ensure project success.
  • Work closely with other Salesforce Consultants to deliver a quality system to our clients.
  • Coordinate and execute data migrations from legacy systems to Salesforce.
  • Help provide leadership and support for projects when needed, including acting as a primary point of contact when projects deviate for Clients.
  • Providing estimates and assisting with the scoping of projects when needed.

You Have:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, MIS or related field.
  • 5+ Salesforce Certifications
  • 5+ years experience in delivering technology solutions.
  • 7+ years configuring and setting up business systems.
  • Expert knowledge in multiple Salesforce products.
  • Proven understanding of the Salesforce Platform, including: MVC architecture, reporting, and automation and flows.
  • Exceptional analysis skills.
  • Exceptional communication skills.
  • Experience completing multiple Salesforce implementations from inception through completion.
