Job Title: Patient Care Technician

Location: Old Road to 9 Acre Corner, Concord, MA 01742

Duration: 13 weeks (with possibilities of extension).

Shift: Day Shift, 12-hour shift, 7a–7p.

Guaranteed Hours: 36 / Option for candidates to work 48 hours per week with OT after 48 hours.

Pay Details:

For Locals:

• $23–$25.

For Travelers/Stipend Candidates (If your permanent address is outside the 90-mile radius from the facility):

• Blended Hourly W2 Pay Rate: $24.00.
• Blended Weekly Gross Pay Rate: $864.00.
• Minimum Hourly W2 Pay Rate: $15.00.
• Min. W2 Weekly Gross (Taxable): $540.00.
• Weekly Stipend (Non-Taxable): $324.84.

OR

For Traveler 1099 Candidates:

• Pay Rate on 1099 to the Candidate: $25.50.
• Weekly 1099 Traveler Pay Rate: $900.00.

We’re seeking an experienced Patient Care Technician to join our team providing hands-on support to patients and nursing staff in an acute care setting.

Requirements:

• Min 1-year Acute care experience – Required.
• BLS (AHA) – Required.
• CNA Certification – Preferred.
• Travel Experience – Required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with patient transport, transfers, and activities of daily living.
• Monitor and document vital signs, intake/output, and blood glucose.
• Perform ECGs and apply monitoring equipment (NIBP, ECG electrodes, pulse oximetry, end-tidal CO₂).
• Administer oxygen via nasal cannula, NRB, or BVM as directed.
• Respond promptly to call lights and assist nursing staff with patient needs.
• Ensure patient safety, privacy, and comfort.
• Float to various units as needed and adapt to changing workloads.
