Parts Counter Person

Leola, PA

• Provide customer service by answering questions and providing accurate quotes

• Work with customers in person and on the phone to determine what parts are needed
• Research part availability and pricing
• Generate quotes for our customers
• Order specialty parts
• Assist customers by providing hose replacement services
• Full-time hours from 7 AM to 5 PM
• Receive on-the-job training in Hydraulic parts sales

Founded over 40 years ago, Beiler Hydraulics is a leading distributor of Hydraulics, Pneumatics, and Power Transmission products. Our goal is to help companies increase their productivity and bottom line with our repair services, hydraulic components & parts, custom power units, cylinders, and automation equipment.

We are looking for a Parts Counter Specialist to join our team. We are willing to provide on-the-job training for candidates with strong customer service skills and mechanical aptitude. Relevant experience may include working as a parts counter person, mechanic, maintenance, or service technician servicing HVAC units, automotive, trailers, appliances, industrial equipment, forklifts, agricultural equipment, hydraulic equipment, trucks, etc.

Our Ideal Parts Counter Person:

• Experienced: Sales, customer service, parts counter, or quoting experience is a plus. Willing to train eager candidates from the mechanic, service, maintenance, and repair technician positions working on industrial equipment, appliances, agricultural equipment, diesel engines, automotive, trailers, HVAC systems, forklifts, hydraulic equipment, etc.
• Computer Skills: Comfortable using a computer, conducting internet searches, learning software; basic typing skills, and ability to write emails.
• Friendly: Someone who enjoys talking with and caring for our customers. Service-oriented.
• Problem-Solver: Ability to ask and answer questions and research parts.
• Excellent Communication Skills: Can communicate in person, by phone, or by email.
• Detailed: Strong organizational skills and ability to generate accurate quotes.
• Team Player: Humble, driven, excellent interpersonal skills & a strong desire to learn.
