Panel Builder
Contract to Hire | St. Paul, MN | $20 - $30/hour

Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Panel Builder to assemble, wire, and test electrical control panels for industrial automation systems. You will work closely with engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure panels are built to spec, UL/NEC standards, and project timelines.

Panel Builder Key Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and layout drawings.
• Assemble electrical enclosures and mount components (relays, circuit breakers, PLCs, terminals, etc.).
• Wire and label components following standardized wiring practices.
• Perform point-to-point continuity checks and functional tests.
• Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with safety codes and quality standards.
• Collaborate with engineers and project managers to resolve design or build issues.

Panel Builder Qualifications:

• 2+ years of panel assembly or electrical technician experience.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and layout diagrams.
• Familiarity with UL508A standards and NEC code is a plus.
• Experience using hand and power tools for assembly.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
