Mother/Baby Unit Nurse Manager - Women's Health Leadership Opportunity

We're seeking an experienced and compassionate Nurse Manager to lead our Mother/Baby Care Unit at a premier healthcare facility in Texas. This leadership role combines clinical expertise with operational management, offering the opportunity to shape the future of maternal and newborn care.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a dedicated team of healthcare professionals in the Postpartum and Newborn Nursery units
• Drive clinical excellence through quality improvement initiatives and best practices implementation
• Oversee daily operations, including staffing, budgeting, and resource management
• Develop and maintain strong physician and interdepartmental relationships
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and hospital policies
• Champion patient safety and quality care initiatives
• Spearhead Women's Health-specific programs and process improvements
• Manage performance evaluations and professional development of staff

Required Qualifications:

• Current Texas RN license or compact license
• BSN required, MSN preferred
• 5 years recent acute care experience (2 years considered with supervisory experience)
• Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC)
• NRP certification
• Proven leadership experience in Mother/Baby or Women's Health setting
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Experience with quality metrics and process improvement
