Motion Graphic Designer Location Fremont, CA : What to Expect

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Motion Graphic Designer to join our expanding and dynamic team at our Fremont, CA location. This individual will take charge of the creative and technical dimensions of motion graphic projects, encompassing Tesla's entire range of products and innovations spanning automotive, energy, and more. From project initiation to conclusion, the Motion Graphic Designer will ensure the timely and conscious delivery of visually stunning motion graphics, aligning with Tesla's standards and enhancing the distinct Tesla brand.

The ideal candidate is highly creative, organized with attention to detail, a great communicator and has the ability to turn challenges into opportunities for growth. They should have a proven ability to lead and motivate teams with both direct and indirect reporting relationships.

What You'll Do
  • Design and produce high-quality motion graphics for various platforms and applications
  • Utilize industry-standard software (e.g., Unreal Engine, Cinema 4D) to create visually compelling animations
  • Bring static designs to life through engaging motion graphics that enhance user experience
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including graphic designers, video editors, and marketing professionals, to ensure cohesive and integrated designs
  • Take feedback and contribute to brainstorming sessions to refine and improve motion graphics
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met and deliverables are of the highest quality
  • Create 3D animations using various models, lighting, and rendering engines
What You'll Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in graphic design, Animation, or equivalent experience
  • 4+ years of professional experience in motion graphic design
  • Proficient in industry-standard software, including After Effects, Adobe Premiere, and Illustrator
  • Proficiency in Unreal Engine, Cinema 4D, Godot Engine, and/or Blender
  • Strong portfolio showcasing a range of motion graphics projects
  • Creative thinker with the ability to bring innovative ideas to the table
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
